      Exactly. It blows any creepy crawler nests or other particles out of the telltale hose and fittings. Motors used in salt water suffer more from this issue than lakers.

        Once you find the teletail pee hole, I’ve used a stiff wire up it to see if the end is clogged. I’ve found insect nests/cocoons clogging the end up on more than one motor, and sometimes the clog is hard like clay.

          I’ll check this weekend. Fingers crossed it’s just that tube that’s clogged. I don’t really want to pull the lower unit again
