      Any info on these motors? I watched the Oddjob motors video where our late brother states it is a rerun of the Elgin 5hp with some updates. Mostly want to know what would be a fair price for one that turns over but probably needs cleaning and new impeller. And most importantly, are there impellers out there? Chrysler stuff is getting hard to come by it seems!

        Well, I answered one of my own questions. Seems the impellers are available through marine engine, so I’m sure I can get one easy. Still, worth buying?

          I have one and it runs fantastic, great idle and good power. I paid 20.00 for it at a local AOMCI meet and cleaned the points and carb and replaced the impeller, other than the recoil being fussy at times i really enjoy it. As far as value i would say 50.00 tops if not running. Good luck,Dave
