      This is the ’50s OMC / Simplex remote control that we all know….and OMC badged them as an Evinrude, Johnson, Gale, Viking, etc. as needed.

      The remote that’s presently mounted on my boat is badged "Evinrude" (I got it on eBay back when my engine was an Evinrude), but now my engine is a Johnson. Sure, the control functions just fine, but I wish my control matched my engine….in both color & badging.

      I don’t need a new control (nor do I want to spend $100 either)….all I need is some paint and a "Johnson Ship-Master badge", which is part number 304920. Anybody have any idea where I might be able to find one? Or are my chances just about zero?
