Atom points eliminator failure mode..

I found some ign coils such as the Wipac on a Seagull outboard would destroy the switching transistor on the home made Atom module. So I fitted the Mosorb to protect it. The Nova module would also be destroyed, so I tried a Mosorb across the leads, & the module would refuse to work. Also the Atom circuit shown at high RPM only advances about 5 deg max.

I’ve read most if not all of your posts on this matter..even checked out the electronic forum that you made posts in..,as in a stalker..

I got my degree in mechanical..always wished I went electrical..

…so that nova with the mosorb didn’t work.. I was hoping that would be tried..like I said…went back to the old tech..mechanical..;)
