The Brown Atom modules have something in them that prevents excessive RPM (I don’t know what that limit is) It would be worth trying on an outboard & see what its capable of as an out board probably doesn’t rev as high as a chainsaw or weed wacker. Blue modules would probably work as well couldn’t find any diference in ign timing when used.
I IMAGINE the colors could easily differ in the registor values (in the voltage divider that controls the "base" on the transistor), these would effect the sensitivity and timing.
