Early omc replacement throttle cable

Hey fellas I’m back asking for the help from the experts i just picked up a 1961 johnson 40hp it came with controls but the throttle cable is wiped out anyone have a link for a decent replacement cable the cable measures about 12 ft. It might even be a little to long for my 14 ft boat i was hoping u guys had some experience on this thanks in advance for any and all help

Teleflex makes excellent cables. You need the 400 series. Below is link to one place to buy them in one foot increment lengths, but others online sell them too. I have bought them from this company. Note Teleflex has been acquired by another company, but cables are the same. There may be a different brand name on the box when you get them.

Teleflex CC17012 is the 12 foot cable. The last 2 digits indicate the length. A 13 foot would be CC17013, etc. I have a NOS one if you need a 12 foot. Send me a PM. I think you asked me a question about it.
