Hello Fellow members, I was wondering if perhaps any of you have an eclipse Model SM user manual and parts diagram.
I picked up a very nice original motor with all the parts in place but unfortunately she is seized up.

I would be willing to pay or trade for some of the manuals that I have.

      Thanks in Advance

OMG the "Inboard" models are a scream! Can’t decide if they look like turtles or Corgi dogs!

I don’t know if it is true but I heard somewhere that Eclipse inboards were used in the movie Mutiny on the Bounty 1935

It’s mentioned on the archived page, in an image that looks like it could have come from an old issue of the Antique Outboarder. I saw it on the Internet, it MUST be true!!

                    From the web page…..
                    http://www.winthrop.dk/bounty/model.html

"An article from a contemporary issue of Popular Mechanics Monthly entitled Old Sailing vessels "made up" as famous ships for the movies about the rebuilding of the vessels for use in the 1935 Mutiny on the Bounty film has been found at the J. Porter Shaw Library at the San Francisco Maritime Historical Park. It also contained this information:

Only twenty-seven feet long, this miniature Bounty reproduces the larger vessel in every detail and is perfectly seaworthy. In addition to a full set of sails, it carries an automobile engine geared to a concealed propeller which kicks the tiny ship along in realistic style. Fitted with bouyant tanks, it was โ€˜wreckedโ€™ on the California coast, and later repaired for exhibition."

                    Prepare to be boarded!

Interesting about what they used to go through to make a movie,
i.e., rebuilding lumber schooners to make the "Bounty" ships, etc.
Suppose now it would all be computer generated shot in a bath tub. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
