      After new packing washers I found my 1924 Elto Ruddertwin really does start easy. And runs good but began getting hot. No water coming out of tubes so shut ‘er down. I can blow air into water tubes through rudder. Also water. But not through rudder and out tubes. Does
      it need to be on a boat in the lake to pump water? Thanks, Slim

        YES ! They depend on movement through the water to fill the water jacket. Once it gets to the coiled outlet tubes a syphon effect aids the flow so it will keep pumping at slow speed. . . 😀
