There is a bearing that the main drive shaft goes through in the lower unit. This bearing is below the water pump impeller but above the drive gear. I do not have a parts manual for this motor so I don’t know the number. I have attached a picture but the bearing fell apart when I took the assembly apart. My questions: What is the part number for this bearing? Are they available? Or is there an alternative if they are not available?

      Thank you for your help.

Most ball bearings have a number etched on either the inner or outer race. Take that number to a local bearing supplier. Or take the pieces and let them mike them.

They are common off the shelf bearings but I can’t remember the part numbers of the ones I used in my 4423 and 4425 motors. If you can measure what’s left of yours, do a search entering the dimensions and you will find them. The measurements might be in metric so you will have to convert if you are using an imperial measuring device.
