]Finished a 4425 Evinrude Sportsman that I’ve been tampering with for a couple months. Started with a hideously ugly running motor outta’ long term storage. NOS impellers, new bearing, bushing & seals in the lower unit, rebuilt carb, NOS Champion plug, stripped, glass beaded & painted w/single-stage acrylic enamel.

Now…I gotta’ do the matching stand.

Before….someone spent a lotta’ time making this poor thing ugly….

I say "pardon me" a lot. I had a 20H, then raced open mod sleds.

I have a 4425 and was wondering what to do with it, after seeing yours I think will have to keep it and restore it one day, thank you for inspiring me and you did a beautiful job 🙂
