      First post here.
      I’ve got a Gale 1W4 Montgomery Ward Sea King 74GG9006 OB. Mixed some fuel, started right up. Is there a water pump in this motor? Where should I see water coming out when running? How do I change the impeller? Many thanks in advance for your recommendation.

        Water slobbers out of the slots about half way down the backside. Pump is forward of the propeller. Pump rotor is part #550040

          Thank you! Found it, some scarring on the rotor, probably needs replaced. Anything special for lower unit gear oil?

            Lubriplate 105 or John Deere corn head grease.

              Missing the threaded gas tank cap…. any idea where I could find a replacement or something that would work?
