      So today for giggles I did a compression test on my little Johnson Hd-25 2.5 HP and came up with 70 and 73 psi in the cylinders. Whats normal PSI for these little motors. This one runs fun with no issues, I just did the test for curiosity and a bench mark since the motors new to me.

        Without having anything to go on, I’d say you are good.

          I have several, and the best one tested at 75 psi on both cylinders.
          Others around 65 psi ran fair, but the one with 75 psi idled much better.

          Prepare to be boarded!
