      Automatic Transmission fluid is a low viscosity (thin) oil with a lot of detergents to survive long time in an automatic transmission. Thinning it with acetone allows it to get into microscopic places . . . 😎

        I like PB Blaster for steel and cast iron things. I am a long-time believer of CRC 6-56 for bolts broken in aluminum housings. However, I am willing to bet that, no matter what we choose, it is just mostly a matter of luck and coincidence….
