      Hello there….

Can anyone help with a Parts manual for the Scott McCulloch Model A3FB. 1960. I think the 14HP models of the same vintage are pretty much the same engine so they would be OK as well….

In particular I am looking for the part numbers/dimensions for the upper and lower crankshaft seals…..

      Thanks, Chuck

        The closest I come in my Dropbox site is the 1960 9 horse . . . 🙁

            Thanks keny for uploading that.

I am still in need of a parts manual though; I am looking to find part numbers for the crankshaft seals. It looks like there is a double seal of some sort at the bottom; maybe someone here who has had it apart can help with pictures and/or dimensions?

            Thanks Chuck

Closest I can get is a ’62 14 Scott. On that one the top crank seal is 3745-1930 (goes back to early 5-hp Bail-o-matic) and the top and bottom seal is 497-1910, apparently close to universal. I’ll upload some pics soon.

Pics from my manual. Oddly enough this does not show the double seal at the bottom of the crank, maybe an early-model thing ?

Thanks retiredoz…..that is odd that the double seal is used on some and not on others.

I wonder what to do now; I have the Scott P/N….but I still have no cross reference to something that is actually available. When you say "close to universal"….what do you mean?

Anyone know the dimensions of a Scott seal #497-1910?

                  Thanks, Chuck

Probably Garry, but I was looking to source the seals prior to pulling the powerhead.
