Looking for a PDF file for a Johnson J-25 so I can try to get it running for personal use. Serial #34571, believe 1926 model. Owner said it ran 4 years ago.

      Thanks, Robert Clark

The motor in the photo isn’t a J-25. It appears to be a Johnson AB or BN, with a bronze lower unit (for salt water use). The manual for a Johnson A or A-25 is likely what you’re looking for.

Thanks, the only legable part of model was 25 on top of the motor.

Thanks again, cleaned top with dish soap and a soft tooth brush and found out it is an AB – 25.

Lucky find, the ones with the bronze lower units show very nicely!

That’s a nice motor and a greAt find for you, but, judging by its condition it’s hard to believe it was run 4 years ago. But knowing the old Johnsons it shouldnt be hard for you to get it going.
