Club member Rob in Melbourne, Australia, came across this Koban for sale and was thoughtful enough to send me the link but it is too far away for me to deal with. My question is, if anyone does end up buying it and do decide to part it out, would you let me know please as I am interested in some of the smaller items on it. Thanks!

its a pre-1920 motor, as evidenced by the enbloc cylinder/crankcase casting.

Cylinders would be removable if it was a 1920 or later Kobunn

        Hope this helps.

I doubt any one would part that motor out.

Me to , but it’s hard to say when you see the chop shop sellers on Ebay parting out perfectly good running motors for maximum profit. ๐Ÿ˜•

              .
I do not understand you all
for 400? I would pay that all day long
send him a text but no answer, of course that is how that works on craigslist
only 400? I would be happy with this engine for twice the price,
stop whining and buy that thing

Maybe this map will help you understand.

Over 5000 kilometers and 49 hours ONE WAY plus travel expenses puts this motor out of my reach. Do the math.

Maybe club members could help. Many travel from both coasts to Tomahawk every summer. It may be possible to get the motor to the west coast on the AOMCI express in August.

I hesitate to mention but Iโ€™m probably about an hour from there. If someone had to have it and made a deal I might be able to help find itโ€™s way to a swap meet.
