      I just bought a Lancaster outboard. All I can find is it was made in Lancaster pa . How rare are the motors and are any parts and decals available thanks

        In the "Old Outboard Book" by Peter Hunn is a description of this outboard.
        could be rare
        But it’s a terribly ugly engine 😆
        ( but that is only my thought 😉 )

          A lawn mower engine on a Lancaster pump. They called it a "Lancaster Guppy" – said to be worth $10 to $75 depending or condition. I understand they were first advertised in 1961 and the remaining stock was sold to a company in Hong Kong in 1967. . . 😀

                Wow! Old thread, you’ve been looking for a long time. Sorry i can’t help but others may be along with help. I also have motors that need that last obscure part. Jim
