      I have a Lauson sportking and so far I can’t find any tag to ID it. The motor tank is blue and the decal is gold with red letters. does it have a water pump. Thanks. CSW

        No water pump on the Lauson motors. Air cooled like on the lawn mowers. Unless it is a 410 model, the sump takes about 20 ounces 30 wt non detergent oil. The points are gapped 0.020". Spark plugs 0.025". You will find the model number under the front cowling between the transom clamps. The cowlings are important on these motors as they help keep the engine cooler.
