      what do I need to screw into the lower oil port on oldies like qd fd ad cd etc.… and hook up to a rubber hose from the pump

      are they all the same ?? would it fit a JW

      I am planning to rig up a pressure pump

        The thread on all.the motors you mention is 3/8-16 UNC.

          If you can machine something…..great!

          If you can’t, here’s a 3/8-16UNC to 1/4"NPT adaptor. Part # 33T

          3/8-16 is a bolt thread, not really a "fitting" thread. But once you convert to the "world of NPT", there’s nothing you can’t do….

              I used the fitting from a lower unit fill kit…

                FYI: I found an adapter online several years ago that adapts these pumps to the metric size used on most of the newer Imported motors. This adapter can also adapt whatever you use for pressure testing.
