I`ve got a 5D10B Buccaneer that I need to fasten the screen filter into the tank fitting. Anyone have any recommendations? I was thinking a dab of JB Weld. Thanx.

Can it be soldered? Epoxy should work, or JBW. Good luck

Traditional is solder, but the last one I did, I used a couple of drops of Locktite threadlocker. Was very pleased.

I use just a dab of Damon Redkote tank sealer to hold them in place on all my square tank motors.
Regular JB weld doesn’t hold up to gas well in my experience.

What is the hole size of your brass screen ?

Super glue works. Just a very small amount though. That mesh wicks it right up.

Thanks, John. I wondered about super Glue. Good to know. Cheers

What brand super glue are you using? Does it hold up against ethanol or methanol?
