Anyone ever try these seals from the Czech Republic?

I know that "you get what you pay for", but
at $1.85 ea. with free shipping, they’re tempting for those motors that
I’ll run once and throw on the rack!

The metric seal noted appears to be a good replacement
for the 1/2" shaft x 1" OD seals.

      Prepare to be boarded!

Viton is the best affordable material that is ethanol resistant. They list a Viton seal. The preferred color is brown which they show. OMC used Viton seals & gaskets in brown color to signify Viton. It is normally expensive vs regular (buna N) material.
There are a lot of thing that go into a quality seal, but for this cheap price might be worth a try. I would not put them in the gearcase as there is no mention of the case being stainless steel. Chris P. has tried that & found they don’t last. JMHO

I’m showing them as NBR, or nitrile-butadiene rubber. 😕

I didn’t click on the order button, but did look at all the pictures. They show different seals, colors, etc. I thought they offered different styles, materials, etc. If they don’t offers Viton material then I’m out! Of course I would expect the price to reflect the Viton cost.

I e-mailed them and asked if they had the seal that you initially referenced in Viton. It took them a few days but they replied that; yes they do….and it is E-bay ID # 322597943990

Viton is listed as VIAS = FKM
