I measured one of mine as a 10-24 with a thread length of 1".

The screws are oval head. Availabe at the Boathouse in Dorval. I don’t think Reno / HD have them.

Thanks Adam, I tried a few but the thread size was giving me a bad feeling with some of my bolts ( seemed loose ).

the stainless steel bolt bin at CT has oval head bolts but it is the thread size I needed .

            BTW silencer fits perfectly 🙂

                😳 thanks BobW

for some reason I hadn’t read your reply when I also found the answer… 10/24 1 inch long oval head

                Adam1961…

                checked out the motor….:-)

90 psi each cyl. well oiled walls (stored properly it looks) smooth pulling

both plugs J6C firing nicely but I’ll pull the flywheel to shine the points and check everything out and retime with VOM . ( plugs should be J4C it seems .) good coils (modern stuff) no cracks plug wires in good shape & original

all in all not bad find for a 60$ CDN 🙂 impeller job needed …just in case so off with the head to check everything

next decision… convert to pump or not ..done a few CD AD FD QD & all work great
