      What exactly is this outboard.
      Didn’t Brunswick have something to do with Mercury?

        I would say 1995 4hp, Brunswick owned or owns mercury at one point.

          Yep, Brunswick purchased Kiekhaefer Mercury in 1964 and phased out the Kiekhaefer name by the early 1970s, changing it to Mercury Marine. They own the Mercury Marine and Mariner brands to this day.

            Built for Mercury by Tohatsu. The design wasn’t bad but the aluminum was horrible. Comes in 2.2 through 3.3 varieties that are all very similar.

              I like the "Easy-off" cowling. I need to fit my brother in laws Mariner 3hp with one as often as it needs to come off!
