Here in Central Lower MI it’s in the low 40’s, sunny….and a herd of Harleys just went past the shop….
I say "pardon me" a lot. I had a 20H, then raced open mod sleds.

February 18, 2018 at 8:43 pm #71258How can there possibly be a herd of Harleys in Michigan? I thought they are all here.

February 18, 2018 at 9:23 pm #71262Must be stragglers, Frank…

February 18, 2018 at 9:33 pm #71263Beware! February can be a cruel month. Spring and daylight savings time are a month away.
LouisFebruary 18, 2018 at 11:51 pm #71273I think we had about three million robins in our backyard over the last couple of weeks, up till yesterday. Today almost all of them are suddenly gone. But they left their robin poop behind. Look out, they probably are heading your way, northward.
On the brighter side, the Surinam Cherries are in bloom and the Hong Kong Orchid tree is beginning to bloom. Water Oaks are starting to pollinate and break out in new leaves. Yes, believe it or not, we do have Springtime in Florida. Happens just before the hot & humid season.
February 19, 2018 at 12:35 am #71275Frank,
We have winter in Az, all two days of it 😉February 19, 2018 at 2:40 am #71284No sign of Spring in Minnesota today, but rather 5" of snow
for a reminder that "It ain’t over yet". 🙁
I did see some Trumpeter Swans in a river the other
day, but they may have been "stupid" ones that stayed
here all winter!Prepare to be boarded!
February 19, 2018 at 5:02 am #71290It was a bit too cool for Harleys today but after our 1/4" of snow melted away this morning, I spotted this clump of daffodils getting ready to bloom. More daffs and tulips are also coming up next to the garage and the grass on top of the mud is starting to thicken up to and will need mowing soon.
Our old Craftsman II mower is ready to go but another Craftsman and a Husky I picked up recently have had their decks and all of the related hardware removed so they’ll never be able to mow again. The Craftsman with the 19.5 horse opposed twin is being converted into a lowrider tug for moving boat trailers and doing chores around the yard.
