I have a 55 Mk-25 that has a factory blank in the remote access hole that is just a plane blank, no "Hurricane" script. This motor was not restored in the fashion that I would consider a restoration. I can’t say for how it runs. The fact that it is a runner is a plus as you can easily invest $125 just into a magneto rebuild.

If the mechanical work attention-to-detail is the same as the painting detail, I would definitely bring a set of oars on the maiden voyage. Painting is ALL wrong.

I got a running Mark 25 for $275 not long ago at a Florida club meet. More than 32,500 of these were made more if you count the Mark25E

Yes and I have a mark 25L 300 were made and I have had 3 of them.
