I know this is not outboard related but I wanted to ask the members which one they hear.

It’s one spoken word where some people hear "yanni" and others clearly hear "laural".

I clearly hear "yanni". My girlfreind clearly hears "laural". Which one do you hear?

Sometimes people say "Yamaha" but I hear "Mercury."

Apparently there’s an overlay of high pitched sound that only young whippersnappers can hear. Those of us with more experience (Ozzie concerts, summers spent in front of reed valves, etc) hear laurel
