I’m wondering what people here like to strip the paint off the back side of the clear plastic emblems found on old Johnson and I’m sure Evinrude motors. I’m leaning towards brake fluid or castrol super clean based on info I’ve found elsewhere on the internet, but I couldn’t find anything posted about these specific emblems. I’m assuming the plastic is acrylic? So what have you used? How good of a job did it do? Was there any damage to the plastic? Thanks so much.

This stuff is non toxic and works pretty well. Shouldn’t cause any damage to o plastic, but you made need a couple applications. I’ve picked it up at Walmart and Home Depot. It is a available i aerosol cans.
