      ’57 Johnson 35HP…….what does this oily streak mean?

      Engine seems to run ok, but after a 30 minute run, I’ve got this "leak"

        Just spent mixture of cooling water and unburnt fuel/oil mix.

        Take the screws out, clean, add sealer, then re tighten.

          take the screws out of what? Where is this coming from?

            The oil drippings are leaking out of the screw that fastens the powerhead onto the top of the exhaust housing. That particular screw goes up into the motor’s exhaust cavity and unburned gas/oil mix can leak through the screw threads and drip out as shown in your picture. Simple fix as Chris noted – just remove that screw and apply some sealer to the threads and reinstall. Gasket seal compound works best.
