What kind of magneto is this on a Wisconsin RBM?

Looks like Elkhart magneto’s are rarer than the proverbial "hens teeth".
This model N Wisconsin outboard, also listed as having a magneto,
appears to have something homemade? (from Jack Craib’s web site)
If so, is it a distributor, rather than a magneto?
I acquired a Model M ( I think) Wisconsin outboard today,
and naturally missing the Elkhart magneto.
I read that they had a lot of "pot" metal in them, so it
probably crumbled away.
Has anyone found a replace mag for these motors?
