I have been working on restoring this beautiful old Evinrude outboard and everything is in really good condition and the restoration is going well I just started into the ignition system and have a few questions I’m replacing the plug wires with 7mm solid core wires since the old cloth has deteriorated but I measured the coils and am getting and open circuit is there an aftermarket magneto coil and condenser people are using? If not is it possible to rewind the coils and does anyone have the specs on that? Thank you
