I’ve been successful pulling off the flywheels on all my Mitey Mites. Using a rubber mallet, I pound upwards on the lower edge while pulling up on the opposing side with my hand. Takes a minute but they have always come off.

If all else fails, heat the hub area with torch until it is hot enough to melt wax
the liquid will be drawn into tiny gap between taper of flywheel and crankshaft.
That MAY release a tight grip and allow "knocker" to work.
        Can’t hurt, might help.
        Do not overheat
        Clean tapers before reassembly
Torque flywheel nut to spec. Never too loose or too tight.

There is usually 6 to 10 thousandths of an inch end play in the crankshaft. ALWAYS lift the flywheel that distance before hitting the "knocker". Otherwise you are just beating or the bottom bearing. Inertia will slow the flywheel and the crank should pop loose. Be sure the contact surfaces are clean and dry and torque the flywheel nut to 25 to 30 foot pounds . . . 😎
