In the attached wiring diagram it shows no ground jumper on the motor side switch terminal for the solenoid. The way the solenoid was wired in at the junction box when I got it there was a jumper wire. Should this jumper be added back in or should it be wired like the original diagram? I’m not sure if there was a recommendation to add this jumper later as a safety measure? I seem to recall Frank Robb talking about not grounding marine solenoids but that might have been more to make a point as to the distinction between automotive and marine.
I apologize for all the questions as I am trying to wrap up the fine details before the boat parade on the 4th!!
