Dave it was nice to meet you at the meet. That drive shaft std. length is #303860 which ss to #325800. ME has 2 @ $200 ea. I know you got a great deal on that beautiful motor, but some club member hopefully has one of those shafts used. I do not at this moment, but will keep an eye open for one. I think you will also need a shift shaft, but it may have the long (brass) shift rod connector. If you are that lucky then you will just need the small connector/short connector. Hope that helps.

I am almost certain I would have all of that. If no one local to you can help, let me know.

Is the old shaft damaged, or just gone? I have boxes full of drive shafts, so would be good to have some measurements to compare to if possible.

Ok I believe I have your shaft, just dug through boxes.

I think the 325800 ds is 25" long, the distance from bottom of ds to round impeller pin hole is approx. 8 3/16", has 11 splines on bottom of drive shaft to engage pinion, and 4 spline on top, to engage crank. Should have a groove to accept o ring at top of drive shaft below crank splines.

There is another version I have as well, that has matching 11 splines to engage crank, all other dimensions are the same.

                I do have both though.

                    Dave,
Are you sure your collection of tools will fit your odd motor? Have fun! I’m going down monday again to find the tank metal. Thought of a real estate sign but it won’t fit Ha Ha,
