      Yeah, I did a lot of research and experimentation when designing that thing. And yes, I did settle on an Allen wrench for that reason. It is incredibly strong and can take much abuse before breaking.

      As already mentioned, the tool is meant to be used in a vise to give it mass and not be bouncy. If you don’t have a vise, at least lay the tool on something hard and heavy like a brick or concrete. It will make all the difference in the world.

                I’ll second that the tool works unbelievably well. I have one of Frank’s, and I’ve never had a problem getting the connector apart. Well thought out design.

                    Thanks to all who have commented and every only got me closer to o ring replacement. I have a friend that I did not know that he has one and using it in about 5 min. job complete. But could not have got there because I did not know enough to ask the right questions till help from y”all. Thanks again.
