Looks like an Elto Service A or Fleetwin type powerhead grafted onto a Light Twin tower.

    Best,

While it’s not a factory produced ELTO I do think it’s pretty cool. I admire the attempt and would be impressed if it actually works. If it was cheap enough I’d buy it.

Going to go pick it up Monday. I’m already resigned to the fact that I paid too much,
but being deprived of Tomahawk this year saved me a lot of money!
Looking forward to unraveling the mystery of this outboard…. with all your help
    of course!

I would bet its a 32 Elto Super A upper grafted to a 23/24 Elto C Ruddertwin lower.
    Very interesting.
Edit, upon further review it looks like the skeg
section of the lower unit is from a later Ruddertwin
    Its an Elto Frankentwin

It will interesting to see how much of a Rube Goldberg / Red Green creation it is.
Of course one has to wonder if it ever pushed a boat.

At any rate, the Super A upper section is a good find.

Tubbs, you’re “Junk Yard Sandwich” should have a patent applied for!

Also made me think of the news clips where they’d show the old
1950’s Chevy’s, etc., patched together in Cuba in any way necessary
to keep them on the road.

Also wonder why we never see any outboards on the forum from Cuba…..
perhaps the regime doesn’t allow them, but if they did, I imagine there’d
    be some ingenious contraptions!
