What year / model might this Elto RBM “at auction” be?
Prepare to be boarded!

October 9, 2020 at 11:15 am #218205While it’s not a factory produced ELTO I do think it’s pretty cool. I admire the attempt and would be impressed if it actually works. If it was cheap enough I’d buy it.

October 9, 2020 at 12:23 pm #218206Going to go pick it up Monday. I’m already resigned to the fact that I paid too much,
but being deprived of Tomahawk this year saved me a lot of money!
Looking forward to unraveling the mystery of this outboard…. with all your help
of course!Prepare to be boarded!
October 9, 2020 at 9:46 pm #218225I would bet its a 32 Elto Super A upper grafted to a 23/24 Elto C Ruddertwin lower.
Very interesting.
Edit, upon further review it looks like the skeg
section of the lower unit is from a later Ruddertwin
Its an Elto Frankentwin- This reply was modified 3 years, 5 months ago by lyks2tinkr.

October 9, 2020 at 9:51 pm #218227It will interesting to see how much of a Rube Goldberg / Red Green creation it is.
Of course one has to wonder if it ever pushed a boat.Prepare to be boarded!
October 9, 2020 at 9:53 pm #218229At any rate, the Super A upper section is a good find.
