Personally, I won’t use any aftermarket carb kits…. if it’s Mercury I use Quicksilver, if Johnson Evinrude, I use BRP or OMC Systematched. I’ve seen those cheap kits on Ebay up close…terrible quality! The bowl gasket and floats are awful. The same goes for the cheap fuel pumps out there on Amazon and Ebay…. terrible quality. Since I own a marine repair shop, I see engines come in with this aftermarket stuff on them. Fuel lines, primer, bulbs, cheap fuel pumps, etc. I end up replacing this stuff with good quality parts to get them going again. Just my humble opinion..
