Don’t feel bad. Same here…while I was stressing over that Evinrude, I was also getting motors started to take to next week’s swap meet here in MI. I fired a K-35 in a garbage can, right next to my wife’s clean car. About one mighty roar and less than 30 seconds later about 90% of the water in the can was on her car. I’m used to my smaller stuff that has ‘neutral’….. The K-35 ain’t quite so civilized.
I’ve got several to try to fire today (including another pseudo-K-35)….so possibly more havoc will ensue…
