I am thinking about taking a look at this boat tomorrow. I know less than nothing about classic boats and I don’t wanna get hosed. I also would like a boat of around the same vintage as my mid 50s OMCs. What do you guys think? The owner is asking $350.

Hosed? I think it is a steal unless there is patching or something the photos don’t show.

I honestly don’t know. I don’t know a thing about these boats. I know that I can buy 3 similar sized V bottom boats around here for that money (70s). I have bought and sold several for $100ish.

I am researching and maybe its a 57?

I have several Feather Craft’s, I’m not sure which model this is. It is worth something though, I guess it depends on your situation. It will be a fair amount of work to strip the paint off, that would be a bigger problem for me. I think the old Alumacraft’s are better built boats for the most part but Feather Craft has a great following.

Yeah, I was thinking a steal, too. In my area, they’d be asking at least $700 for that boat. I’m not saying they would get it, for sure; but they would be starting at at least that money.

I don’t think a Topper. The closed bow looks different, but I didn’t look at all the years.

After a bit more looking around, you may be right.
