I have the same twisted drive shaft in my 10-A-73 Firestones. I have one that is so warped I’m not sure it is useable. Only thing I can think of to warp it like that is hitting a stump with a titanium shear pin. So are you staying in the hobby Jeff? Your knowledge would truly be missed.
Yes, I’m staying with the hobby. I have too many now to quit. As far as knowledge I know enough to get me in trouble is all. Many know much more than me. It’s just time to slow down a little for me & maybe sell a few as I own too many for me to repair in my lifetime.
