so I got the kf7 on the flyer it started fine,I let it  warm up a for minute or three moved the timing advance up to fast, squeezed the hand throttle off we went, it was  great! Ran for a few minutes gave it the full throttle a couple of times it’s fast. Then it seemed to bog down not have the top end it starts and idles putts along. So probably need to clean the carb jets any advice before I dig in?

      thanks

Carb is simple enough except for the spring
on the choke plate. Takes a little practice getting
it back on. Old packing washers can disintegrate
leaving chucks plugging things up so that worth
checking but are you sure something hasn’t just
          slipped or become disconnected?

Tubs what’s the small adjustment screw to right of the fuel shutoff, and how does one adjust it properly?

High speed adjustment run at full throttle and adjust to best running.

Thanks tubs, that’s a nice looking carburetor. I don’t see a filter in the copper fuel line or the tank.

The original filter is (or was) here. It could
have been removed. The ones I have had still
have the factory filter so I don’t have any
experience with actual substitutes. I’m sure some
more knowledgeable than me will help you
                        out there.
