I’m working on a 1959 Evinrude Fisherman 5.5hp and I need the kit
numbers for the carb and water pump.
      Thanks for any help.

I wish the other side looked this good!

The carb kit is 439071. The newer style complete water pump kit with the small impeller is 763758 while the P/N for the original style impeller is 434424. The original 303442 housings are getting harder to find in good condition so the 763758 kit might be the way to go.

                Thanks for the help.
I’m trying to get it running for the Indy river run in October.
I’ve got one more parts question.
Where can I find the little clip that holds the points to the post?
Marinengine shows it on the parts breakdown but it is not listed.
I heard it hit the wall ten feet away. Not a chance of finding it.
I was able to steel one from another motor on the "Someday Rack"
but I would like to put it back together.
                Thanks again.

The little clip which likes to fly away all the time is included with your new OMC/BRP points set. Also included is a continuity clip and a lubricating wick for the cam. I don’t think Sierra includes those goodies with their points! If you don’t want to buy new points, check the throttle linkage on a CD and maybe some other parts motor models. The shaft which rides on the throttle cam is kept in place with two of these same clips! 😀
