Ok, I’m ready to assemble my Martin 20 gas tank. I have the mating surfaces clean along with the screw and screw holes chased. I only want to do it once so I have some questions.

Do I need to put sealer where the gaskets rest? One side or both sides? And what is the best sealer?

Do I need to put a sealer on the threads of the screws?

The 16 or so screws that screw from the bottom had o-rings on them. Are they necessary? The top screws didn’t have o-rings.

      Thanks in advance, Matt.

I think my tank screws had lock washers.
