      The kd3 and kd4 have the same gear case except for the gears. Most (but definitely not all) of the kd3s and kd4s out there were updates with the spring and lip seal. Many also had a rotex type impeller installed to replace the oscillator “hockey puck” type impeller.

        OK . THANKS OPPOSED TWIN . NOW ITS CRYSTAL CLEAR . I HAD THE LIP SEAL BUT NO SPRING OR BUSHING . ANY IDEAS AS TO WHERE TO GET THOSE MISSING PARTS
