I just picked up a Mercury Kg-7 and I am not sure that I want to spend the time rebuilding it. It has compression – lots. There might be a cover over the spark plug that is missing, but I really don’t know.

Could anyone give me an idea what it is worth? Are there manuals for it?

      Thanks

Price varies greatly on condition. Many have been
run long & hard. If that is still the original block seal
and if the compression is 115 or higher you would
have some interest in that motor. May be more
or less than you paid. How much was that?

The problem with parting out is the whole is worth more than the sum of its pats AND not all parts are in demand. Most who work on outboards already have parts, manuals tools, experience and sources. If you do not feel up to rebuild and restore, find someone who can and will. One person wil look it over and see problems while another person will see an opportunity aka Winter Project.
