New Toy CD-12 Tank Cleaning question

Ya, I get that. Get to it when you get to it. I’m wondering if something is sticking in the check valves like Dave said if the primer isn’t pumping. We’ll get it figured out eventually. Your tank has the aluminum button, right? When you take it apart again make sure the washers that go on either side of the diaphragm are oriented with the curved side against the rubber. Also make sure the check valves are moving freely and are able to seal against the seat. Does the button feel like it has any resistance at all other than the spring? I have another one of these I need to rebuild too. If you get stuck, I will get into mine and I can get some pictures as I go.

Maybe it is the check valve. I will have to take a look at it. I don’t remember much about it.

I took the 55 5.5 out this afternoon. I couldn’t be happier. It runs better than a new one. It idles down to nearly nothing. Happy. Happy. Happy.

Ok guys. I took the tank apart again this evening and gave it another shot. Apparently, I had something installed upside down or something. I sat down with the parts breakdown and was very careful to get things oriented correctly. And go figure, it works fine now. Thanks again for the help everyone.
