Over size pistons for fifties 18 OMCs?

I just entered the number on eBay and a half dozen options came up. I picked that option because each piston comes with rings. Why there are OMC pistons in Cyprus, (if in fact, there ARE any) I have no idea. If this all works out, score one for the Interweb and the global economy, I guess. Every once in a great while, my wife likes to go to a casino. I hate it; but I have to occupy my time and might end up flushing $20 to $100 down the toilet. This Cyprus thing is a gamble, I know; but it’s way more fun than a casino.

If it’s the seller I mentioned above, I’ve purchased lots of items from him in the last few years with no problems. I suspect he cleaned out an old dealers stock somewhere as his main items for sale are electronics.

Do these pistons have the pressure backed top ring?

It’s hard to tell from the picture but I am guessing they are Pressure Backs, being two ring style. I know it will be sort of sacrilege to put Pressure Backs in a long-life 50s engine….Sort of allowing OMCs future mistakes to infect the past.

For anybody that cares, I finally got my two pistons and rings, all the way from Cyprus. They arrived in good condition, despite what I would think was marginal packing. They appear to be correct. They are two ring pistons but are NOT pressure back, not even the top one. Now to find somebody that can bore a small two stroke, accurately….
