I am attending the Silver Lake meet. It is on Sunday September 15th.
If anyone who is attending has a tiller assembly for a 1947 5 hp Sea King
Model 74GG9011A please bring it if you want to trade or sell it. Thanks.

I hope there is a good turnout for the meet. I’ve been looking for this tiller for years.
Here are some pictures of OMC/Gale parts I have to trade.

Sure looks like a Firestone 3.6 tiller

No. 100% Sea King. I’ve seen another 1947 Sea King with this same tiller.

It is used in a lot of the late 1940s early ’50s Gale products outboards of 1-½, 3 and 5 horse power – (Sea King, Sea Bee, Buccaneer, Brooklure, Sea Flyer, Hiawatha, Saber and Atlas Royal) I liked that they locked in the down position and then were a carrying handle.

Well no dice. My search continues.
