        What I’m really wondering is……
What’s the physical differences, say between
a regular Elto Speedster and a Senior Speedster, etc.
        Thanks.

And what was the first scan I posted on this subject????

Sorry, my multi-tasking and memory isn’t what it used to be.
Lack of sleep isn’t helping. Woke up at 4 am yesterday,
couldn’t fall back asleep, so ended up watching
the Royal Shindig. Lots of Pompiousass and Circumstance for sure!
Never seen the Queen Mum crack one smile.

For my penance, for watching the Royal Wedding, and for
forgetting to "blow up" and read the Speedster article……
          Here’s what I gleaned from it……

          Standard Speedster
          Model # –
          B x S – 2-1/2" x 2"
          8 HP

          Special Speedster
          Model #-
          Larger B x S
          HP – 12 ?

          Senior Speedster
          Model # 310
          Extra heavy duty construction
          Standard under water silencer
          HP – 14

          Hi-Speed Option Speedster
          "lighter construction"

Sorry may computer has been down. Elto Speedster could not be converted but A 905 Special Speedster could as I picked up a Sr. that had been converted that way. The later mag. he has on it needs the skirt removed as it is prewar anyway. Get a Timer handle for "U" speeditwin and mount underneath. the holes should still be there and put switch on left side of handle support and you are are more or less correct for 1932-’33. Put a OMC rope plate on it and you are done, it’s a ’34. Jim

Jim, I ended up getting a magneto and flywheel from a Speeditwin,
and it looks like it will work fine. Right now I’m trying to "re-fit"
the homemade rod bearings that were in it. Thanks.
