        Those 9.9 and 15s are the only motors where I have ever had trouble with Sierra impellers, and had to go to Johnson OEM parts. Even changing the housing to the Sierra one didn’t work, but, the problem was a bit different than yours, because the Sierra parts worked well except at very slow, trolling idle speed and the telltale stream did drop to almost nothing.

          Just ran it on the boat this weekend for about 6hrs and it cools great, running in the barrel is what caused my concern. Thanks for all your input.
