      Is there anything from my local car parts store that can be used as a substitute condenser for a mid-late 30’s K series Johnson?

          i have had good luck with both my A50 and K50 using a condenser from a 60s Chevy both motors seem to run fine with them. I used the original condenser plates to make a pattern for a cover to hide the new ones

            Doug…..60’s GM is an RR176. See above….

                    And you ca mount them in your gutted condenser can with the original wire to look like original. work and last better.
